Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico
The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico is an educational performing dance organization dedicated to education and awareness of the Hispanic community and its cultural contribution to society. Artistic Director Anita N. Martinez founded the ballet in 1975 in a recreation center on the west side of Dallas. In 1990, Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico produced its first season of professional dances employing dancers trained in Mexico.
The Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico is a resident company of the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
