GLIMPSE 2012: A Sneak Peak into Aurora 2013
Join us for the signature event of the District’s Art in October month-long celebration – GLIMPSE 2012; a night of light, video, sound, interactive installations and free public art on October 19, 2012, 7pm to 12 am. GLIMPSE 2012 is a one night, unique opportunity for the art community to preview Aurora 2013, featuring 10 of the 100+ artists expected to participate in next year’s event.

LOCATION:
For the evening of October 19, 2012, Flora Street in the Dallas Arts District will be closed to traffic between Routh and Jack Evans to become a pedestrian walk-way of art and food trucks. Art installations will also be located on the grounds of the Dallas City Performance Hall, the AT & T Performing Arts Center’s Winspear Opera House and Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Attendees will be able to enter the event from any point in the District and chart their own path as they wander, explore and experience the art and events throughout the district.

HOSPITALITY:
Food trucks will be available on Flora St. including: SSahm, Three Lions, Cajun Tail Gators, Easy Sliders, Jack’s Chowhound, Nammi, Crazy Fish, The Butcher’s Son and for those that love desserts, Trailercakes, Coolhaus and EntICEd will be on hand. Beer and wine will available for purchase.
