Join us for a very special October 1st filled with free museum admission, events, food, fun and frivolity. Bring that bike, stroller – any artistically decorated human-powered vehicle, for that matter – and join in the procession! The best-decorated entries will win some very, very cool prizes! If you don’t get time to decorate in advance, just come at 9am and use our art supplies (free) so you’ll be ready by 10am when the procession through the District kicks off. Grab some delicious breakfast tacos, too – proceeds go to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts.
30 a.m. – Jorge’s Breakfast Service Begins (A percentage of breakfast sales donated to Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts)
00 a.m. – Registration, check-in and bike decorating for Art in Motion
00 a.m. – Procession from One Arts Plaza begins; Dallas Museum of Art, Crow Collection of Asian Art and Nasher Sculpture Center open (FREE admission)
15a.m. – Processional arrives at museums (bike check available)
00 a.m. – Food trucks open on Flora Street and performances begin.
